  • We offer regularly scheduled herd checks, as frequently as is needed by your farm.

    Pregnancy diagnosis, herd health management, vaccinations, sick-animal evaluation, calf management, and more can be achieved during these herd checks, maintaining the health and efficiency of your farm.

  • We happily work with producers, large and small, to ensure their beef cattle grow to their maximum potential. We offer reproductive services, herd health management consultations, and of course individual/sick care for animals that may need attention.

  • Have a small herd of a few beef for dairy cattle?

    We don’t mind! We’re happy to work with producers of all sizes as well as those who own cattle as companions or in a rescue setting. Our goal, regardless of how many animals on the farm, is to harbor a collaborative effort to ensure your animals remain in excellent health.

Goats

  • Reproductive services, parasite management, nutritional consults, and herd health concerns are all available for goat producers regardless of operation size. Additionally, individual/sick care for animals that may need attention is available as needed.

    Routine hoof trimming is recommended for pet goats, anywhere from 2x-4x yearly. Our skilled veterinary technician, Katrina, offers trimming appointments at a technician rate.

    Those looking to breed animals are strongly encouraged to reach out with any questions they may have, and to have a pre-kidding appointment set up to booster necessary vaccines, discuss what to expect with your does, and discuss neonatal kid management.

  • At this time, we recommend an annual wellness visit for routine vaccination and parasite management in pet goats.

Alpaca

Llamas & Alpacas

Llamas and alpaca owners are encouraged to reach out once yearly for annual vaccination, parasite management, and wellness exams for their animals.

Additionally, we offer reproductive services as well as flock management consultations for those who are growing their flock or breeding animals.

Pig

Pigs

  • We are happy work with producers, large and small, to ensure their farmed pigs grow to their maximum potential. Though not required, we offer vaccination for rabies and leptospirosis. We also are happy to work on vaccination protocols and help facilitate testing for infectious disease for large operations. For smaller operations, we are glad to evaluate sick animals and initiate treatment as needed.

  • We recommend that pet pigs are routinely vaccinated for rabies and leptospirosis. Annual fecal egg counts are also recommended.

    We also offer “piggy spa days” for pet pigs (including hoof trimming, tusk trimming, and eye/ear cleaning), which can be done an an annual or biannual basis.

Chicken

Poultry

Dr. Kit DeWolf currently offers veterinary services for farmed poultry. Services are available both on an individual bird basis and flock basis.

Post-mortem examination is also offered and recommended for flocks experiencing inexplainable deaths.

Horses

Equine

We are happy to offer health care, lameness evaluations, routine vaccination & Coggins testing, and dental floating (hand-floating) for horses, donkeys, and mules.

Due to the limited number of local veterinarians available to tend to after-hour equine emergencies, we cannot guarantee emergency coverage but can direct you to alternative clinics if necessary.

Livestock Guardian Dogs & Barn Cats

At this time, we are not seeing livestock guardian dogs or barn cats.

We are excited to work with local organizations, schools, farms, 4-H, etc. to create educational events, hands-on teaching courses, or participate in local happenings. Please reach out with any questions or ideas!

At this time, we work with a large and reputable veterinary supply distributer to offer a dropship program. This allows producers to pay competitive prices for necessary prescription medications and veterinary supplies. Depending on order time/date, supplies often arrive on-farm within 24-48 hours.

Cattle hoof trimming and care

Aaron Stevens, of Stevens Cattle Hoof Care, offers trimming services for cattle and similar species. His decades of cattle experience leads to a trim that is both low-stress and efficient.

Large herds are encouraged to set up routine trimming to reduce lameness issues among the herd, trim dry cows, and increase overall cow comfort.
